Bacacay is under the management of current Municipal Mayor of Bacacay, Tobias Betito. At the 2010 census, it had a population of 65,724 people. Once you get here at Bacacay, Albay, you will experience amazing adventures as it offers several, rare-long stretches of black sand. Getting to this island is easy and fast. You can access it in just 1 hour and 45 minutes ride going to these stellar black sand beaches. You can choose any transportation, from riding a van/jeep that crosses Legazpi City to Tabacco or Bacacay. Just tell the tourist guide to drop you off at Brgy. San Jose junction. Then after that, you can ride the popularly known means of transportation, the tricycle to take you to the resort of your choice.

The fare here is very cheap. It will only cost you P7.00/ person ($0.16) and P 50.00 or ($1.16 USD) for special trip. This means that you don’t have to wait for other passengers to ride the tricycle. And talking about the reservations, there are lots of resorts in Bacacay which you can choose for your overnight stay.
